Poinciana Cottages is a peaceful retreat on the edge of town, down a country lane, with rolling valley and mountain views, as well as leafy tropical gardens. Poinciana is owned and operated by a local family, Peter and Jackie Pye who live on site.
The property has an interesting history and the homestead known as “Redleaf” was one of the original guesthouses on Norfolk Island and well known for its hospitality to visitors.
There are five separate cottages all rated three and a half stars by Star Ratings Australia. Lavender Cottager, Daisy Cottage, Rose Cottage, Azalea Cottage, and Gardenia Cottage all guarantee our guests complete privacy, boasting modern design and décor, very well maintained and sparkling clean. You will be pleasantly surprised.
Our Customer Commitment
Because your comfort is our priority, Peter and Jackie meet and greet you at the airport and show you to the property, ensuring that you are comfortably settled into your cottage and have everything you need to begin your well-earned break.
The cottages are fully self-contained with comfortable king size or king single beds with premium sun-dried linen and a pillow menu for a restful nights’ sleep.
Newly renovated bathrooms include a glass shower, high-quality towels and SPA toiletries. Each cottage has an in-house laundry with automatic washing machines and outside clothesline.
Kitchens provide filtered water and have full cooking facilities, including convection microwave, dishwasher, crockery, cutlery etc. The combined lounge/dining is the perfect spot for leisure or business and includes free WIFI, a dining room table, lounges, flatscreen TV (local channels and one satellite channel), DVD player, media system and mobile phone. Other inclusions such as beach towels, picnic blanket, wine cooler, thermos, esky, picnic baskets will have you well prepared for a relaxing, rejuvenating, carefree holiday.
All cottages have access to the Summer Kitchen within the property gardens, which includes full BBQ facilities, relaxing lounges and wonderful fresh air.
Units are serviced weekly, and full quality linen is provided. Children are welcome and cots are available on request ($10 per day charge).
